catching up

Lately it feels like I am always trying to get caught up. Wish I had more time for blogging. Since baby #5 I feel my time more stretched than ever. It's not necessarily all because of Jacob, because he is a really, really good natured baby. But it's just trying to meet the needs of everyone and everything.

Anyway, here are some photos I pulled off my camera of recent events.

After several months and trial and error, Andrew finally mastered the potty. Here he is with his sticker chart that he filled to earn a reward. I am so happy to be back to having just one kid in diapers.

Jacob is growing up so fast! He just started crawling this week and has his two bottom teeth in. When he is on his tummy he goes back and forth from this....
to this....

One of our new favorite places to go is Explora in downtown Albuquerque. It's a children's science museum, and it's awesome. We got a family annual pass for Christmas, and we've already gotten our money's worth. Madison also takes a homeschool science class there once a week.

This is one of our favorite exhibits. It has all kinds of tracks, ramps, and things that balls spin through. The first time we saw it we watched it for almost an hour.Even Jacob was captivated...

Ganon celebrated a birthday in February. He's not really a fan of cake, so we always have his favorite dessert-Banana Cream Pie. I used to always pick one up at Marie Callendars. But since we don't have that restaurant here I make it now. Our favorite recipe is from ourbestbites.com. So good.
I was really excited to give him this subway art I made. It has all of the addresses we've lived at since we have been married. (I blurred out our current street for privacy). It was really fun to make, and really inexpensive for big artwork (it's 2' x 3'). I made it following instructions from iammommahearmeroar.net. I will definitely do something else like this, maybe with a favorite quote or something.

Camille was so excited to lose her first tooth! It has been wiggly for a while, and the other day she came running off the bus so excited because it had fallen out at school. She's pretty proud of her new gap.
