If anyone out there still checks my blog, you've probably noticed I've let my blogging fall waaaaaaaaaay by the wayside. I've just had to let it go for a while. But it's not because I haven't wanted to...I have legitimate reasons. 3 actually.

First of all, we're moving. There is a job opportunity for Ganon in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and we have decided to accept it. It has been a long and difficult process to make this decision. And now it's a long and difficult process to actually make it happen. But we are moving forward with faith that this is the right decision for our family and good things lie ahead. We'll be quite a bit farther from family and friends that we love dearly, so it will be an adjustment. But we are excited about the opportunities open to us. It has been a very emotional and challenging few months as we have been preparing for the changes ahead.

Second, we're expecting baby #5. Something we neither planned nor expected, but we are so happy and excited. This August Andrew will have a little brother to teach all about cars and motorcycles and soccer balls, etc.

Third, I got sick. Reallllly sick. Sicker than I've ever been actually. After waiting weeks to get over a cold, I ended up with pneumonia and spent several days in the hospital. It took weeks after that to recover-I pretty much lost the whole month of February. But I am happy to be feeling well again and so grateful we have a strong little baby that fought through it with me.

So that's where I've been and what I've been doing. So far a big year with big changes for our little family. I probably will not be able to blog much between now and the move (end of April) but hope to be more consistent once we are in New Mexico so we can stay in touch with everyone.

Hope you all are enjoying your Spring!

Good to hear from you : ) I can relate on two accounts. Jake is starting his own practice in North Carolina, we're moving at the end of May. We're also expecting baby number 5 at the beginning of May. I'm so sorry about your illness. My mom got pneumonia several years ago and it was really difficult for her to get feeling good again. I can't imagine being pregnant and going through that. I hope all goes well with your move.

Congratulations on the baby, the new job and thankfully your health. I am so happy for you to have another baby. I am sure the Lord will continue to bless you and your family. I know moving from Merced especially when you feel so loved is hard, but new opportunities arise for reasons we sometimes do not understand. Good luck with your move.

Congratulations! What amazing changes for all of you. Our friend's dad is the temple president there (Elder Shumway) and there are a lot of great people there. I hope you love it and have a great experience. Did you know Jeff Luffey is there practicing also? Good luck and if you are ever driving through Pinetop, Az and need a place to stay, you are always welcome!
