Wildlife Refuge

This weekend we went out to the Merced Wildlife Refuge. It's over 10,000 acres of land, protected to attract wintering waterfowl. We enjoyed it so much. I wish I could say these pictures do it justice, but it's just hard to capture this kind of thing... Here are some photos though to give you an idea.









We also spotted rabbits, lots of ground squirrels, and a coyote. Oh, and these wild things:

i didn't even know that was there in merced! by the way monet LOVES the snowman book, we read it at least three times a day! thanks!
