Laura won a school writing award this year and went on to win Third Place at the District level for her grade. Wednesday we went to the mall for the awards assembly. I could tell she was really proud of herself. I was too!
She wrote about her baby brother, Andrew. The category she placed in was "Description." Way to go, Laura!

Just absolutely precious. Good little "paper" she wrote! Maybe she'll develop an affinity for "playing with words." She is looking more grown up!
