So here is a difference between men and women...rather than discreetly placing these lovely stickers, Ganon sticks them right in the center of the window. Forget all aesthetic values. His argument: The intruders have to be able to see them to get scared off. Okay, I see his point, but come on! Here is our front room window. When I walk into the room, the only thing I see now is the sticker.
And here is our back sliding glass door. Can you see the sticker, can you???
And a funny sidenote...We took the kids on a walk this evening. They noticed the sign in the front yard, and the following conversation took place:
Laura: What's that sign for?
Me: It's to scare away robbers.
Laura: What's wrong with robbers?
Madison: They come into your house and take your furniture.
Laura: What!? Those little birds can't lift furniture!
Madison: No, not ROBINS--Robbers!
Laura: Ohhhhhh, now I get it.

I know the phrase is way overused. BUT I AM laughing out loud. ABOUT ALL OF IT. THE STICKERS, AND THE ROBBERS/ROBBINS. You cannot make this stuff up.
I think the Priesthood should have Enrichment meetings on decorating your home.
Only Laura could come up with that!!
That is so funny, and you know what? The signs and stickers will probably work fine-- especially because even the most clueless of robbers couldn't miss that if they tried.
When we got our security system, I put up the stickers and Roarke said, "why did you put them so low?" My thought was that a clever robber would look closely at the glass before initally busting through. You should probably tell Gannon to put a couple of those stickers on his car windsheild-- I mean, just to be safe and all.
You've made me laugh this morning : )) Thanks!!
That's very funny.
I am now wondering if I need to rethink my placement of our stickers. I guess I'm planning on the careful, observant kind of intruders.
that's a pretty cute and funny story--
