Piano Recital. I hosted my 3rd recital as a piano teacher in Merced. I have 15 wonderful students. I so wish I had taken a group photo. It was a really nice evening. I think I get more nervous than my students do. I just want them to play as well as they can. Everyone did a wonderful job and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing all of their progress.
Camille turned 4! For some reason, Camille growing up has taken me by complete surprise. I will be having a conversation with her and then think, "Wait, when did you learn to talk?" Seems like just yesterday she was Andrew's size. Camille is a such a pleasure to have around. She is a good sister and a good friend, loves to color, loves gymnastics, and has the sweetest little voice. She is a girly girl and loves pink, sparkles, etc. I adore her.
Visit with cousins. My Grandma and Aunt were in town visiting from Utah, so I drove to Folsom with the kids. We had a picnic at the park then went back to my parents' house to hang out. Everyone had a lot of fun together.

Cousins! The two boys on the left are actually MY cousins (Riley and Oliver), the girls left to right--Cambry, Ellery, London, Madison, Camille, and Laura's hiding behind Andrew.

HAWAII! We spent the last week in beautiful Kauai. It was amazing! We traveled with Ganon's aunt and uncle and their fantastic kids. Here's the whole group...Matt, Molly, Karin (home from BYU), Ganon and Andrew, me, Scott (16), Doug (13), front row--Madison (9), Thomas (9), Emily (4), Camille (4), and Laura (7).

We stayed in on the south part of the island in Koloa, right on Poipu Beach.

It was a great resort, perfect for families. We were back and forth between the beach and pool all week.
Our first day there we attended church in Kalaheo. At the end of the meeting they sang farewell to a member leaving the island (Aloha 'oe...farewell to you). It was neat to see them do that. Here we are outside the church.
After church we went on a scenic drive--Spouting Horn and Waimea Canyon. Beautiful.

So if you've been to Kauai, you know about the chickens. Crazy. All over the place, crowing all hours of the day. But it didn't bother us, the kids thought it was great. I guess the chickens turned wild after a hurricane and the population has just exploded. Kind of funny.

The morning we left we were trying to get rid of food we didn't use. The kids were so helpful and offered to consume the ice cream

Are they twins? No, but definitely buddies.
